Job Description
Equity Corps is working with the Founder/CEO of a Federal Government IT Systems company to bring in a new VP of Business Development to lead and build the company's DHS effort. Annual revenues are approximately $75 Million, and company has been in business for over 15 years. The company has specialties in Software Engineering and Development, Systems Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence, has earned numerous awards and certifications (INC 500, CMMI, ISO), has a strong performance record, is differentiated by its specialized technical expertise and offshore development capability, and is uniquely positioned to add value to clients within DHS.
The ideal DHS Sales Leader will take personal responsibility for delivering the company's new business acquisition objectives within DHS. This means serving as an individual contributor to bring in new business and building and leading a small sales team focused on DHS. He/she is a senior sales executive with extensive federal government sales experience, current relationships with relevant government agencies (DIS, ICE, TSA, and CBP), a strong grasp of federal sales strategy, and the ability to sell at the CIO level. He/she has a record of driving federal sales growth, and would have the ability to attract, lead, and develop top business development talent. He/she has strong competencies in sales, account strategy, program/project management, government contracting, and client management.
Key criteria include - 1) Strong DHS IT Systems Sales Track Record 2) Highly Motivated to Grow a New Business 3) Ability to Inspire Confidence at the CIO Level
