SVP SALES - FEDERAL IT SERVICES (DoD/INTEL)
Job Description
Equity Corps is working with the Founder/CEO of a Federal Government IT Services company. Annual revenues are $25 - $35 Million. The company has been in business for approximately 10 years and is an 8(a) graduate. Service offerings include Enterprise Architecture, Application Development, Information Assurance, and Network O&M. The founder is highly motivated and appropriately capitalized to grow quickly.
The ideal SVP Sales will take personal responsibility for delivering the company's new business acquisition objectives across contracts and lines of business. This means serving as an individual contributor to bring in new business, working cooperatively with program managers to identify and harvest expansion opportunities, leading a small sales team, and running the proposal shop. He/she is a senior sales executive with extensive federal government sales experience, current relationships with relevant government agencies (preferably within DoD), and a strong grasp of federal sales strategy. He/she would have a record of driving federal sales growth, and would have the ability to attract, lead, and develop top business development talent. He/she would have strong competencies in sales, account strategy, proposal development, capture, program/project management, government contracting, and client management.
Key criteria include - 1) Strong DoD/Intel IT Services Sales Track Record 2) Complete Command/Leadership of Full Federal Sales Process, including Research, Strategy, Client Relationship, Proposal Development, Pricing, Contract Negotiation and Capture. 3) Highly Motivated to Grow a Business
